Nascido em Catânia, começou os seus estudos musicais na sua cidade natal, depois mudou-se para Milão onde continuou os seus estudos sob a direcção do Maestro Mauro Storti. Licenciou-se brilhantemente no ‘N. Piccinni’ Conservatório em Bari. Especializou-se então sob a orientação do Maestro Alirio Diaz. Frequentou numerosos cursos com mestres de renome mundial como N. Yepes, E. Fisk, O. Ghiglia, R. Chiesa e J. Bream. O Clube Internacional da UNESCO atribuiu-lhe a Medalha de Honra pela sua actividade musical. Participou como guitarrista de flamenco em numerosos espectáculos relativos ao folclore espanhol, recebendo sempre aclamação unânime tanto da crítica como do público. Em Abril de 1994, inaugurou a exposição itinerante ‘Invitacion al Museo del Prado’ em Madrid, recebendo uma menção de louvor do Cônsul Honorário de Espanha. Foi convidado em várias estações de rádio e televisão nacionais; em 1995 participou no programa Uno Mattina (RAI). Desde 2007, toca regularmente em duo com o Maestro Carlos Pacheco Torres, que ensina guitarra flamenca no Conservatório Nacional de Música de Córdoba.

Tem tocado em duos com os guitarristas mais famosos do nosso tempo. Com Alirio Diaz, Senio Diaz, Eliot Fisk, G. Tampalini, Alberto San Miguel, e muitos outros. Durante a sua tournée na Polónia, actuou no Museu de Arte Moderna e Música em Gdansk, em Varsóvia e em Cracóvia, na prestigiada sala “Pod Baranami”; também gravou alguns concertos para a televisão polaca RTP. Em digressão na Hungria, EUA e África do Sul, Venezuela, Turkia deu numerosos concertos tanto como solista como em duo de voz e guitarra. Durante importantes eventos culturais. Em particular, deu o concerto de abertura do 9º Festival Internacional ‘Miskolci Kamarakorus’ na Hungria; durante o mesmo evento, deu vários concertos como solista. Nos EUA, foi seleccionado para realizar um concerto para o 6º Aniversário do Mall of America em Minneapolis. Apresentou-se também na Catedral de St. Paul (USA-MN), no Departamento de Música do St. Olaf College para o ACDA (USA-MN), St. James em Nova Iorque e outras salas de concertos no Estado de Nova Iorque. Em Setembro de 1998, deu um concerto em nome da Federação Europeia das Associações de Ar Limpo e Protecção Ambiental no 11º Congresso Mundial da IUAPPA em Durban (África do Sul). Na mesma cidade, actuou no Howard College Theatre em nome da Universidade de Natal (Departamento de Música). Foi convidado pela Universidade de Granada (Espanha) para o 1º Campus Internacional de Guitarra ‘Andrès Segovia’, dirigido pelo Maestro Eliot Fisk . Em Inglaterra, tocou no histórico Brighton’s College, no Brighton’s Historic Royal Pavilion e na Universidade de Sussex. Foi também convidado a actuar para o Embaixador do Egipto em Itália S.E.N.A. Latif. Em Março de 2006, foi convidado pela Fundação Alirio Diaz, em Caracas, para realizar o concerto de encerramento da exposição itinerante dedicada ao famoso guitarrista venezuelano, em duo com o Maestro Senio Diaz. Salvatore Daniele Pidone realiza uma extensa actividade pedagógica. Tem sido assistente em master classes realizadas por M° Alirio Diaz e M° Mauro Storti. Tem realizado numerosas Master Classes em nome de importantes Associações Musicais. Foi convidado várias vezes para concursos de música nacionais e internacionais como comissário do júri examinador. Foi um dos vencedores do concurso internacional organizado pela editora Berbèn. Tem várias publicações a seu crédito, também para os Conservatórios e Istituti Musicali Pareggiati. Os seus alunos tocaram para S.E. o Presidente da República Italiana Oscar Luigi Scalfaro na Sala dei Corazzieri no Quirinale. Foi membro do Comité Técnico Provincial das Escolas de Discurso Musical. O Clube Internacional da UNESCO atribuiu-lhe a Medalha de Honra pela sua actividade musical. Recebeu o título de Cavaleiro da Ordem Hospitaller da Mater Juventutis Bell. Desde 2007, tem tocado regularmente em duo com o Maestro Senio Diaz e o Maestro Carlos Pacheco Torres. Em 2013, foi convidado pelo Comité Director da “Festa Italiana” em LONDRES (CA) como artista representativo e deu uma série de concertos na região de ONTARIO.

É professor titular de guitarra no Liceo Musicale Statale ‘G. Turrisi Colonna’ em Catania (CT), e detém a cadeira de guitarra no Istituto Musicale ‘G. Carissimi’ em Syracuse.

He was also invited to perform for Egypt’s Ambassador to Italy H.E. N.A. Latif. In March 2006, he was invited by the Alirio Diaz Foundation in Caracas to hold the closing concert of the travelling exhibition dedicated to the famous Venezuelan guitarist, in duo with Maestro Senio Diaz. Salvatore Daniele Pidone carries out an extensive teaching activity. He has been an assistant in master classes held by M° Alirio Diaz and M° Mauro Storti. He has held numerous Master Classes on behalf of important Musical Associations. He has been invited several times to national and international music competitions as a commissioner of the examining jury. He was one of the winners of the international competition organised by the Berbèn publishing house. He has several publications to his credit, also for the Conservatories and Istituti Musicali Pareggiati. His students played for H.E. the President of the Italian Republic Oscar Luigi Scalfaro in the Sala dei Corazzieri at the Quirinale. He was a member of the Provincial Technical Committee of the Musical Address Schools. The UNESCO International Club awarded him the Medal of Honour for his musical activity. He was awarded the title of Knight of the Hospitaller Order of the Mater Juventutis Bell. Since 2007, he has regularly played in duo with Maestro Senio Diaz and Maestro Carlos Pacheco Torres. In 2013, he was invited by the Steering Committee of the “Festa Italiana” in LONDON (CA) as a representative artist and gave a series of concerts in the ONTARIO region. 

He is a full professor of guitar at the Liceo Musicale Statale ‘G. Turrisi Colonna’ in Catania (CT), and holds the chair of guitar at the Istituto Musicale ‘G. Carissimi’ in Syracuse.
